booted the game back up to do the last 2 achievements and my before the music ends achievement was gone, but the pearl achievement which I got after was still there
i looked into this- sorry about the complication. These are the kind of issues I learn from as I make games.
You do have to complete each hole before the music ends for each hole (2,5, and 7) while the game is running. If you turn off the game while trying to get it, you'll lose progress. But you can go back and forward in menus. To do each hole, you have to finish grabbing the ball out of the hole before the music ends. But you can quit to the menu immediately after. Once you see the achievement in the achievement window, you need to go to visit level (or just hit begin to go to the first level) to save the achievement for real.
wait I just had to replay holes 2 and 5 again and for some reason it worked? then I found the pearl kinda exactly where I expected, now just to beat a full run with no deaths, also just a question for personal sake, did the holes have to be done in a constant "run" like I ended up doing in desperation?
As far as I know, no? I think the achievements do only count after you leave a level and go to the next one. I can't remember if quitting to menu before a level ends doesn't count achievements though.
came back after months, managed to do hole 7 before the music ended after many tries, have done the other holes, did not fire
also while attempting I learned there is in fact one thing I do not like about this game, the fact all holes except 12 are grouped, makes retrying so annoying
but yeah, I just really wanted to get that achievement so I can then work on the easy one that is no death and try to find that damn pearl, which I now get that reference having played it a bit ago
Pretty neat, took a bit long to introduce the horror mechanic but the mechanic is pretty interesting to play around with, it's mostly restrictive and irritating but that's the point, creates a lot of anxiety, pretty solid all around
This is hands down my favorite horror game of everything I have ever played. Sounds hyperbolic, but it's true. Do you plan on pursuing more horror in the future?
Cool game, quite intense. The jump scares kind of get annoying after a while so I am really glad that there is a turn of enemies option. I really enjoyed this game, but I just could not get the game to stop freezing when I entered the 3rd last level :(
Is there no save function in this game? I imagine the game is long enough that it would definitely benefit from having a save function in it. At least it means we can keep our scores from previous holes
There's a chapter save system- it should save every time you move a map. It might be some sort of system permissions thing on your computer if it's not working? What system are you on?
I did find the chapter system, which works fine. But it does mean that we don't keep our scores, which as bad as my score would have been, it would've still been good to keep. This one thing aside, the game has been great and mega stressful, like what Golf typically is
yeah the ROBLOX golf Halloween map is PRETTY SCARY!!!!!!!!! But not I'd expect a baby like you to understand it............ don't come crying to me when you brown all over your undies

golden clubs and balls, sprint, and jump, those were working, I'm gonna see if restarting the game makes it work when I play next, which is hopefully to be soon, cause this shit is actually really fun to achievement hunt
I am sorry to pester but do you think I could get an answer to my comment about clarification on some achievements, I'm not asking for like a walkthrough or even tips on how to do them, just what their parameters are, because I did holes 2, 5, and 7 before the music that comes with them ends, and I did not get it

okay so totally fucking awesome game, very frustrating at times, but that's just the nature of golf, eh? ohh yeah and the being chased while doing it thing, ngl getting par on all holes without turning enemies to off or slow, which I was tempted to do many times, was hard as hell, but very rewarding, this is a novel concept and I think you executed it almost perfectly, and as a guy who is big on audio design, A motherfucking plus, good concept, great execution, great sound design, great ambiance, kinda capitalizing on the lower graphics, and it's just fantastic
oh also think it's weird you can trigger hole 13 without finishing hole 12
ngl the "the ball cannot go into the water" should be fading text that shows up as the game restarts, rather than a black screen that needs to go out, it's only a few seconds, but it ends up getting kind annoying on the island hole
edit: which I did par on right after writing this, but still that would be my input

a run is from clicking begin to the end of the game where you see your scores.
